How much has Ken Lewis raked in as he has destroyed billions in shareholder wealth buying poorly run companies at overly inflated prices?
FleetBoston - $47 billion (41% premium paid)
MBNA - $35 billion (31% premium paid)
Countrywide - $4 billion + $2billion in preferred (little premium, but could have been had for less without taking on all the liabilities)
Merrill Lynch - $50 billion (70% premium paid)
Total - $138 billion.
BAC's market cap as of Oct 2008 - $150 billion.
